NOAA released their 2015 Atlantic Hurricane Seasonal Outlook on Wednesday.
They expect 6-11 named storms … 3-6 that will become hurricanes… 0-2 major hurricanes (Cat. 3 or higher).
Colorado State University’s Dr. Philip Klotzbach and William Gray predict a total of seven named storms, three hurricanes and one major hurricane. The average for the Atlantic basin is 12 named storms, six hurricanes and two major hurricanes.
One should remember that it only takes one hurricane or tropical storm to impact you and your family. We cannot predict hurricane landfall.
